I’m I die hard és fan and collector and it all began with the Sal 23 and Koston 1 for me in 96/97. Top three skate shoes of all time are the Koston 1, Sal 23 and the original Accell. The new One Nine 7 reissues are awesome and feel great to skate in. The only critique I have is the whole outer cupsole and base of the One Nine 7 is not like the original K1’s with the distinct 02 pocket and look of the outside midsole is looking different. Missed the mark on that one. Could have had the best of both worlds with newer materials yet keep the original look like és did with the 2023 reissues of the Muska and Creager. Hope es can make these positive changes for their future 2024/2025 lines. Last thing. Bring back the infamous K1 colour-way in Navy/White/Yellow (97/98). I’d buy 10 pairs of these on the spot. The very first K1 Colour-way (97) in what was called warm gray (had what looked to be mostly whitish colour with a somewhat transparent lavender cupsole and warm gray/pinkish midsole. Love those! Es was my skateshoe growing up,these remind me of kostons shoe...please bring back the scheme

i started skateboarding in 1998, i never did get a chance to own the original ek01, i always thought they looked great and were his best shoe, just never got my hands on a pair. i am very grateful for these rereleases. taps into the nastalgia perfectly.
